Still Here!

Haven't blogged since Halloween! The kids are doing good and growing up. Playing and fighting and some hugging and dancing! Last week Anthony and Izarra changed attitudes. He was super nice and helpful and Izarra was super mean and disobedient. It was a crazy hard week but we got over it and they're back to normal, except that Anthony is more calm and helpful now :] Tomorrow I will take some pictures of the kids and post them up. It is currently 11:38 and Anthony is awake on Izarras iPod watching Mickey Mouse. He was asleep but woke up at 11pm. Hopefully he will sleep in tomorrow morning since I have him awake right now, but I highly doubt it. It's okay though because he isn't crazy in the morning unless he's hungry....which is all the time....as soon as he wakes up...lol. Izarra is sleeping, she had a fun day at school. She still loves going to school everyday. She was excited to go tomorrow, until I told her that tomorrow is the weekend. Hopefully tomorrow doesn't rain, but regardless I hope to be doing something fun with the kids. For sure we have to do some arts and crafts for our thanksgiving decorations since we haven't out any up yet. Well, that is all for my welcome back post. Til tomorrow!

Happy Halloween!

Today is Halloween and Izarra is super excited to wear her costume to school. I'm going to school with her again because the teacher wanted me to help them out today. Yesterday we went on a field trip and Izarra had a ton of fun :D I love seeing her excited and super happy!

She was excited to go to school because they had a Halloween Party! She was the only 'witch' in her class :] I'm actually surprised she chose to dress up as a witch.

Twas a rainy day...

It was raining all day today! So we didn't go out to the park as planned. Izarra went to school and was happy to go, even if it was raining when I took her. We don't have an umbrella but Izarra wore her big puffy warm pink jacket! Anthony wore his purple and black thick jacket so the kids were nice and warm . After dropping Izarra off at school, we came back home and made breakfast.
Anthony had some more Apples, a hash brown, cereal and some orange juice. He ate it all up and started playing with us. He wanted to play catch and fetch...he watches the dogs too much, lol. So we played and then we played dinosaurs and then we danced. We had a snack and then played some more and danced some more. No pictures today, unfortunately.
It was time to pick Izarra up and we came straight home. It was still raining when we went to pick her up. She said she had fun and she brought home some work that she did in school. We had some jello and apples for lunch and then out Anthony to take his nap. Izarra played on her iPod while Anthony took his nap. He actually slept for a good 2 1/2 hours! Once he woke up we went to the kitchen to make dinner. They wanted ramen, so thats what I made them. they ate about a pack each! and had some fruit/ vegetable juice and were full. We cleaned our mess and went back to the room to play some more. We played and had tickle 'fights' and played with the balloons. Non-stop laughter is always fun! We had a good day :]

Grocery Shopping!

Today Izarra was happy to go to school. She woke up kinda grumpy but once we were in the car she had a smile on her face! The day was nice and sunny but chilly. Anthony wanted to sleep in but he woke up before we left. When we came back we had breakfast. Anthony ate some apples, bananas and cereal. Before we knew it, it was time to pick Izarra up.

When Izarra saw me she was excited to show me that they had gotten homework. After we were in the car we decided to go get some groceries since we were running really low. Of course we went to Walmart because it's the closest! We had a list of things we needed to get, so Izarra was drawing the stuff we got so I would know which to cross out. I am not gonna lie...Most drawings looked the same :p

She really wanted that Support Breast Cancer beenie but we don't have the funds for it :[
Anthony was very cranky during the grocery shopping, and Izarra was having fun getting some stuff. It was a lot of walking around and she was more than ready to go home and relax. We spent about an hour and a half at Wally world and then headed home. It was still chilly outside and when we came home we tired putting Anthony to take his nap. FAIL. He had fallen asleep in the car for literally less than five minutes and that was enough for him.  He was cranky the rest of the day.

Yay for school!

Izarra was excited to go back to school! She couldn't go to school yesterday because I had to go to the doctors early morning to get some tests done and I didn't have anyone available to take her. It was a beautiful day ad Anthony didn't want his sister to leave but she told him she was coming back. He then was happy to tell her bye. She had fun and learned stuff, lol. She said she just ate fruit for lunch. Some days I know she doesn't eat and some days she comes home with a tummy full of lunch. Since she didn't eat today we had a slice of pizza for lunch. She ate a piece and Anthony ate Two pieces! They had some chocolate milk with their pizza and some apples on the side. They ate everything and drank all their chocolate milk.

 
 I let them watch some cartoons, read some books and play for about an hour so it gives them time for their food to settle. Anthony kept rubbing his eyes and telling me, "bed." He was definitely ready for his nap, he wasn't super cranky but he was just a little bit. So Frank took him to the room so he can take his nap. He went to sleep fairly quickly! While Anthony slept, Izarra, her dad and I hung out. She just wanted to snuggle on the couch and watch some cartoons.
Later when Anthony woke up we decided to take them outside so they can run around and play. These are their Outfits of the Day, lol.

 They played for a while and since it was such a nice day we thought it would be good to go for a walk. So off we went... for a walk. At first Anthony didn't want to walk and Izarra didn't want to leave the house. We were about 20 steps away from the house and she told us we need to go back before we get lost.  After we were a bit farther away she was fine with the 'far' away walk. Anthony wanted to run around and be out of his stroller.

It was a fun great day! The kids had plenty of fun and ate til their tummies were full! When we got home we bathed them and then they wanted to go straight to bed. Tired little babies! <3

Busy, Busy, Rush, Rush!

We had a busy day today. We all woke up late and rushed out the door. Izarra didn't go to school because we didn't have a ride for her to go and come home if we we're able to make it. I had to go take some tests at the dr. and it took about 3 hours. Most of the morning the kids were with Frank waiting for me while I was with the doctor. So I do not have pictures of the kids today. They went to Walmart to go buy some stuff to make lunch and dinner with. They also bought me a surprise for 'doing good' at the doctors. It was a candy apple! :]

Once we came home we cleaned the kitchen and made lunch. After lunch was done we watched a cartoon and then it was nap time.  It was super cold today so I fell asleep at nap time. Frank said that Anthony took his nap but it wasn't much. Izarra played on her iPod waiting for her brother to wake up. Once awake, they started playing and running around. In the room and running to the living room chasing balloons! They both thought it was funny that I was blowing up a balloon and it popped in my face. I didn't think it was funny. They also played with daddy and I and they were laughing non stop, it was very nice.

Before we knew it, it was dinner time. Stroganoff for dinner. Can't forget the Mushroom rice. Both kids gobbled it up rather quickly. I guess they were 'starving', lol. Anyway, after we played some more. We didn't take them outside because it was cold and the kids are still getting over their colds. This busy day went by quickly which is kinda a good thing. Izarra is ready to go back to school tomorrow! I think that's all for today...

Good Monday

Today was funny, mean, bumming and loving. Izarra was so excited to go to school today. She woke up on time and was ready to get ready for school. I was going to stay home with Anthony while Frank dropped Izarra off at school but I guess Anthony felt Izarra was going to leave. He woke up a couple minutes before Izarra had to leave. So we all went to drop her off at school. We came back and I made Anthony some Eggs for breakfast. He was super hungry because he was eating it up pretty quick.

While Izarra was at school Frank and I played with Anthony and listened/ watched Dexter. Anthony always loves having Izarra at home but he does love when she goes to school because he get all our attention! After the 3 hours it was time to pick Izarra up and her brother was super excited to see her. She had fun at school like always but was excited to come home. She told her dad last night to download some games for her on her iPod. When we were on our way home she asked him if the games finished downloading. They did, so she was excited to start playing the games.

She played it for about an hour then it was Anthonys nap time. She didn't take a nap but she did just rest a while. While Anthony was sleeping Izarra, Frank and I kept busy. He slept for a good 2 hours. When Anthony woke up we ate some lunch, Izarra didn't want to eat. We watched some cartoons and after decided to go play outside. We played with some balloons but they kept popping. The kids decided to pick a flower for me :]

After they ran around for a while and decided to open up a pomegranate. Izarra picked it out and told Anthony she would share with him. She got it and took it to her dad. She asked him if he could open it because she doesn't have big muscles, lol.

She shared the fruit with her brother and I. It was actually sweet, she picked out a really good one. Anyway, it took about an hour and a half for them to finish eating their halves. Once done they went back to running around and playing. Izarra then thought she would help teach Anthony how to ride his bike. Izarra doesn't want to learn how to ride her own bike. Anthony was enjoying his lesson though and Izarra loves teaching her brother new things. I asked Izarra if she wanted to ride her bike but she said, "No, it's too scary!" She's a big girl and can choose to not learn but I really want her to enjoy bike riding. I told her everything would be okay and she agreed to practicing. 

Frank AND Anthony decided to help Izarra practice on her bike. So I recorded the process and will post the video as soon as it is done uploading. They just started and Anthony was already being mean to his sister. 

It was mean but hilarious. My poor Izarra was actually scared. After I stopped recording I helped her ride around. She did calm down and she did ride her bike on her own. She did a very good job. She much prefers me helping her instead of her dad and brother. She rode around for a couple of minutes and was laughing and having fun. Since I was helping her I wasn't able to document it. Next time Frank will record so you can see I am not lying, she did have fun after the meanness of her brother. It was a good day with the kids. Yes, they do pick on each other but you just have to learn to deal with it. Kids will be kids, they do apologize when they know they did something wrong. 

It started getting dark so we brought them inside and Frank started dinner. I took the kids to get their stuff ready so they can bathe. They both love baths! 

After their bath it was dinner time. We ate dinner and the kids ate it all up. Chicken Alfredo is always a win! They played a little and then it was story-time and bedtime! They were both actually ready to get in their beds and sleep! I guess we tired them out. :]

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Good Morning! 

The kids actually woke up at a later time. They let me and Frank sleep in! Whoo hoo! It was long enough because we didn't eat breakfast til 10am. It was cereal for breakfast and of course Izarra 'made' it for her brother and herself. After Breakfast it was time for some drawing and coloring.

After drawing and coloring Izarra decided she wanted to paint everyone's nails. Mine were already painted so she asked her dad if she could paint his. He unwillingly said yes, unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture. :[ After she finished her dads nails she wanted to paint Anthony's nails...

And yes, it happened. Anthony was fine with it but he didn't like it after. Soon after they were finished it was time to make dinner. We are kinda running low on food so for dinner we made "spaghetti"

It was good. The kids loved it. Its a new improved spaghetti!Anthony gobbled it up quick and Izarra wanted seconds! So all in all, it was a good day.

Saturday Fun!

Not really, but kinda! The kids were cranky today. They woke up at around 6am! Frank left around 8:50am to his interview and thats when I made the kids breakfast. Izarra said she wanted Cereal. I asked Anthony if he wanted anything different but he said no. Izarra wanted to 'make' breakfast so I let her pour the cereal and the milk. She did an amazing job not spilling anything! She was so happy that she did a great job! :] They ate their cereal and watched some toons. Later Izarra and I watched a Barbie movie and it was meh. She liked some of it but she didnt like the last half of the movie.

Anthony didn't want to hang out with us after he ate. He didn't want to watch the movie, so he went to hang out with his Uncle Alex, Auntie Nancy and Cousin Abby. I asked them if it was okay that he hung out with them and they said yes. I went to check on him and he was supervising his cousin eat her breakfast.

^Anthony's expression in the first picture was because Abby was throwing her cereal on the floor and laughing. He kept picking it up and giving it back but she kept throwing it on the floor. So most of the day Anthony hung out with them until Frank came back. Once he saw daddy was back so was Anthony, lol.

Anyways, later was dinner and then play time outside. Teenie.....ended up rolling in the dirt..Izarra was running around and pushing the stroller. Teenie was chasing her for a while but like I said...He ended up rolling in the dirt. Daddy helped him roll in the dirt too. :/

We let them play outside for a couple hours. He wanted to pet Rupert (My sisters cat) but I told him not to touch the cat. Rupert is usually nice but sometimes he doesn't liked to be touched by anyone. Long story shirt, he ended up petting the cat and the cat scratched him :[ He's fine but I still felt bad because the cat hurt him.

We stood outside a little longer after shooing the cat away. The kids played and Teenie rolled in some more dirt. It was getting dark so we brought the kids inside to bathe them. They both took a bath (the love baths) and then it was time to get ready for bed. They were already cranky so unfortunately no bedtime story :[ They went asleep fairly quick. They were both tired but for sure tomorrow morning they will both be up before Frank and I. 

Helpful Kids

So today Izarra didn't want to go to school. She said she was too tired to go to school. So I told her she can stay home tomorrow so she can rest, lol. She agreed and unwillingly got ready for school. Frank dropped her off while I made breakfast for Anthony. After Anthony ate we needed to go to the storage to find something.

We ended up not needing it but I did grab some of Izarra's books out from storage. We are short on books for bedtime, so when I seen them I knew to grab them and bring them home. Anthony saw her old dog toy and wanted it so of course I gave it to him and told him ,"doggie needs a bath." and he got super excited and yelled, "Bath Time!" Later it was time to pick Izarra up from school so off we went. She said she had fun and learned all kinds of stuff. Apparently they have apples everyday at lunch.

Got home, made Anthony some lunch. Izarra ate at school right before she comes home. We let the kids play outside for about an hour and a half. Anthony and I checked the mail and we got a lot of mail today. I forgot to take his picture carrying the little boxes! We got some dog treats in the mail, so they were giving out treats to all the dogs. After it was already time for Anthonys nap. Frank left to run some errands and Izarra and I took Anthony to the room to take his nap. We waited about 5 minutes and he was fast asleep. While he was taking his nap Izarra and I snuck out of the room and started cleaning the kitchen. Then it was cartoon time!

About two hours later he woke up and joined us in the living room to watch some cartoons. He was still a little cranky but nothing some cuddles could fix!  Apparently I was wrong!
Izarra wanted to help me make dinner, so I had her season the chicken. She helped me and then washed her hands and went back to the living room to watch cartoons with her brother. So, I was in the kitchen finishing up with the chicken and I hear Izarra picking on Anthony. I went and told her to leave him alone. They were fighting over the couch. I told them to be nice and of course kids don't listen. I went back to the kitchen and  hear Izarra screaming bloody murder. I ran and asked what happened, Anthony hit her. So I send her to her room to clam down and I sit Anthony down in 'timeout'. So she said it was her fault because she kept pushing Anthony. So they both said sorry and gave hugs.

Dinner time came and we were all excited to have a meal by Izarra. It was REALLY over seasoned.  After we were done Izarra offered to wash dishes. She brought her stepping stool thing and got started. She was so excited to wash dishes. I love how happy she gets when I ask her for help. I know when she gets older it wont be the same but I sure am enjoying it right now!

Anthony's Haircut!

Oh yeah, we cut his hair! It was like two weeks ago. He really needed it. Everyone kept calling him a she, and it was really annoying. His hair was always in his eyes and even though I love his blonde locks, they needed to be trimmed....or cut off...Here is his before;

I used the machine to cut his hair but he kept moving around. I went inside and grabbed a lollipop so he can stay still, it didn't work. Frank ended up holding him and he was still scared of the loud machine noise. Izarra then offered to help. She said she would talk to Teenie and distract him while I cut his hair. It worked! He was talking to her while I was cutting his hair, but I took a break so I can get a picture of his Mullet, lol.

Anyway, I finished cutting all his hair with Izarra's and daddy's help. The lollipop didn't really help. He ended up getting his hair on it so he just threw it to the dog who was waiting for it. I ended up really liking his hair cut, I seriously thought I wouldn't because his hair has always been the same. Anthony likes it and Izarra laughed at him because he's 'bauld'!
